Victoria Delgadillo is a visual artist and graduate of the University of California, San Diego.

Delgadillo’s art has themes of movement, belonging, and in-betweenness, sometimes subtly, reflecting broader social and political realities. Stylistically, her themes are often expressed through layered compositions, symbolic imagery, and a blend of realism with more dreamlike or surreal elements.

Victoria’s art is in the permanent collections of the LA County Museum, Laguna Beach Museum, National Mexican-American Museum, Vincent Price Art Museum, The California Printmaking Archive, The Cultural Institute of Baja California, Glasgow Print Studio United Kingdom, The University of Guadalajara Archive in Mexico and the University of Notre Dame Latinx Library.

In 2002 & 2011 she received awards from the LA City Council for creating public awareness through art for the disappeared Women of Juarez and for Community Spirit and Dedication in support of Self Help Graphics & Art. In 2009 Victoria received UCSD’s Gracia Molina de Pick Feminisms Grant awarded to women who are active in social justice, community service, humanitarianism and equality. In 2020 she received the J. Paul Getty Trust and the California Community Foundation Grant for individual artists that serve Los Angeles’ culturally diverse communities. She was honored in 2021 by The National Association of Latino Arts/The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation/Intercultural Leadership Institute for Latinx creatives who use diverse artistic practices.
